Farrukh Ergashev
Research Engineer
Farrukh Ergashev is a research engineer at GCAPS. He is a recent graduate from The Pennsylvania State University, where he spent his first two years researching walking biomechanics and walking adaptations due to variation of prosthetic stiffness. Following years, he was involved with Penn State’s formula racing team, where he primarily focused on electronics and data acquisition. After spending summer with D.A.T.A lab working on reinforcement learning-based flight controller, Farrukh interned with Boeing, where he worked with the wiring design team on the VC25B program. Farrukh also volunteers at Penn State’s Advanced Vehicle Team, where he is supporting the algorithms development team with the development of the level four autonomous navigation system. Farrukh’s interests lay in control systems, robotics, and machine learning.
